Direct Deposit is a safe and easy way to have your money deposited directly into your checking or savings account. When you use direct deposit:
- you allow a company (usually your employer or Social Security) to electronically transfer money into your account.
- There is no need to take the time to cash a check yourself, the money will automatically be deposited into your account on your normal pay date.
Why use Direct Deposit?
Convenience: No more special trips to the credit union to cash or deposit your check--a nice feature if you're busy, on vacation or away on business.
Reliability: You will have peace of mind knowing your money will always be in your account on time.
Security: With direct deposit, you don't have to worry about lost, stolen and misplaced checks.
Simple: You will still receive a pay stub from your employer detailing your salary and direct deposit amount. But instead of making a trip to the credit union with your check, your money will already be in your account.
The transit and routing number for Service Plus Credit Union (required for direct deposit, along with your member number) is 322281248.
